Yes, the job market is REALLY good now.
Received a call from my best friend yesterday. Woh, she’s going for an interview this Wed, good luck! I hope you get the job.
I realised only yesterday that we are competing for jobs not only with the fresh graduates, but also with many many foreign talents.

Is the job market so good now?
I sent an email to the General Manager(GM) of my new company 3 days ago to make some enquires but only get a reply from the other manager today. Guess what, this GM had resigned!!!
Felt a bit cheated since he’s the one who hired me and I thought he’s the only one whom I can click well since he’s also a Singaporean. ha ha. Ok ok, I should think on the bright side. The job market is very good and he got high market value after working in this company. (???)
Anyway, I was informed of the training and orientation schedule and thank god, I can take my exams!

Tamiflu side effects
” Tamiflu, the anti-viral drug manufactured by the Swiss Roche Holdings, has been linked to abnormal behavior, with most of the incidents involving children. Deaths have resulted from falls from windows and balconies and by running into traffic, possibly because of hallucinations. Patients have also suffered from delirium and some have committed suicide. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently required the manufacturer to add a warning that patients taking Tamiflu should be carefully monitored for this kind of behavior. “
Kind of scary right… reminds me all the Japanese horror movies where teenagers commit suicide together. If not for this link to Tamiflu, I’m sure people will link abnormal behavior to the doings of evil spirits… As there are no medicine without side effects, how do we judge if we should eat the medicine???
Often, we eat medicine A to cure disease A1 and eat medicine B & C to prevent/suppress the side effects of medicine A. On top of that, there is a risk that disease A1 multiply its attacks in response to medicine A. On the other hand, there is a possibility that our body can fight the disease itself. It’s a bet, and the stake is your health. To eat or not to eat.
P.S: Just some thoughts, I’m not troubled by this now, though I believe that everyone will come across this dilemma one day.

Death Note 22 – I like their rhythm
If you have watched ep 22 of Death Note, you will know which part of the show I’m referring to.
It’s the part when L asked Light to imagine that Yagami Light (himself) is Kira. The music is so nicely integrated into their speech and action!
Though we all know that Light is Kira, I can’t help but hope that Light will not regain his memories. I like their status quo, enjoying their team work and impressed with their intelligence. I do not want to see Light killing L. I like both of them.

300 – Computer Graphics Fantastic
For someone like me, who cannot appreciate LOTR and war movies, to like this movie, this movie must deserve high ratings!
The fighting scenes are beautiful and impressive. Yes, beautiful. Not bloody or disgusting or fake. Woh woh.
I cried when his son died, and also at the final battle scene.
Berowl: I can finally appreciate all the entries that you have made. If you like to know more about this movie and its background, visit this site.

佐藤直紀 Satou Naoki – Great music
Recently I learnt a very nice electone piece titled Sea Monkey (海猿), it’s from the OST of the movie Umizaru – Limit of Love. The song is composed by Naoki Satou. I like this kind of music a lot, super grand and melancholy.
I finally found the ost last week and listened to the original sound track. Woh! Exactly the music arrangment on the electone is exactly the same as the sound track! In fact, the whole OST is just as nice.

Paid leaves…
I feel as if I’m full time studying and part time working now. I’ve 99% completed handing over my task and basically left with nothing much to do. So everyday, I simply study for my Master and do the projects. (Full time student) Now and then, I’m needed to clarify my work and that’s about it.
Why dun they allow me to clear my leave? (Company policy)
Anyway I’m enjoying my leave in office.

Do not shop at Trendy Zone (Heeren)
Rude sales girl. No after goods service. Imply that customer tried to cheat them. No Quality check before putting on the shelf.
Look at the left shoe, can see that it’s slanted? This is obviously a factory fault.

Read more about it here.
