Just a little superstitious

You know what, coding has not been successful for the past few days. Its a simple task but I just couldn’t get it right. I’m supposed to do some VoIP application, compress the packets before sending over the network. I found a great codec named speex. But I kept on getting constant background noise.

A thought strikes me today. Probably I should change my wallpaper. My current wallpaper is the poster of Death Note Movie. Maybe it’s not auspicious, makes me gloomy and hence cannot find the bug.

So I changed it to One Piece. Hopefully that will cheer me up and I will be able to see light soon.

Btw, I discovered a huge database of anime wallpapers.

Yeah, if you can still remember , I was looking for the ED05 of the anime “Bokura ga ita”. Ha ha. I found it! So happy!

My longest bus ride

The bus was packed and I was lucky to find a seat, last row, right most. Was literally trapped there.

Bokura ga Ita ED05 is fantastic!

ED05, 二人の季節が, used in episode 7, 11, 13. Anyone knows where I can get this song? It’s soooo nice! I’m going to try to play this song on the electone.
Guess, It’s sang by 佐々木のぞみ(Sasaki Nozomi). Got to admit that I’m slow… cos she is the seiyuu(voice) of Nana! (The female lead).

After Nana broke up with Yano, Takeuchi (Yano’s best friend) decided to confess to Nana. The battle between the two began…

Nana on the other hand, sensed that Takeuchi like her.

That is one of the theme in these 3 episodes. It’s quite true isn’t it?

Impressive – the REAL Going Merry

Oh my god. Look at this! They actually make a REAL Going Merry! (The name of the ship in One Piece)

It follows the manga exactly! Even those places that has been repaired.

Good company = good job? I’ve doubts about this.

I am now very fed-up with my friend’s boss . His boss rejected his request to attend training AGAIN! I think it’s the 4-5th rejection already.
It has been one and a half years and my friend has not attended a single course/training. Not that his company is small and has no money. In fact, his colleagues (who’re in another team) attended numerous training. The company itself, is well-known for their staff development scheme.

It’s really unlucky of him to be under this boss. Someone who only cares about project deadline and project cost. He has a whole lot of excuses.

“Training is useless. It’s better to learn on the job. ” (I wonder why he so stingy with sending people to training)

“It’s not the right time.” (Yeah right, and when is the right time heh?)

I think I’m more upset than my friend. Everytime I heard about this, I would encourage him to change job. Ha, I think that’s our difference. I tend to rush to conclusion while he’s calm and gets over it fast. (Like what he always says, I have low EQ.)

Okay, I know I know, (he’s going to nag at me again), working is not all about attending courses, your colleagues are good and you like your current job scope…

Addicted to Internet

Recently I think I’m too much into blogging. Ok, the result proves that I am right. I’m starting to get addicted to internet! No… If you see no post for 1 week, you will know why.

Mushishi ep26 – Finally…

Finally watched the last episode tonight. Though main character of the last story was not Ginko, we get to know more about his past. Some of my friends do not like this anime because there is no big plot. Almost every episode can be a stand-alone. But, its music is super soothing and every episode will be a surprise. It was a very unique anime.

A final look at Ginko.

New Anime – D.Gray Man

A whole lot of new animes released this season. I think I have enough of romance and shoujos. Now I’m more interested in mystery and supernatural power. He he. No doubt, Death Note is one anime that I will follow closely. The other one will be D.Gray Man.

Episode 1 was not fantastic, but enough to let you wait for episode 2 before you make the decision whether to drop it or not.

Episode 2 is more interesting, as more characters appears and some humour and suspense are added. Apparantly Allen (the main character as shown aboved) is cursed but possessed great power to destroy Akuma (the evil characters in the story). [Familiar? Harry Potter?]

Since it’s based on the manga, which is still on going, the story-line should be good. =p
