Honey and Clover II ep 4 – So touching…

The past of Rika, Harada and Shuu is brought up again in this second season. In this episode, the naration by Shuu about how he felt when Harada died in the car crash is sooo touching that I felt like crying. The 3 of them were very close friends living together.

When Harada died, Rika was very depressed. Shuu unknowingly attempted to kill Rika, so as to free Rika from her suffering.

If you had watched season 1, you will be as touched as me. This is the reason why Shuu and Rika stayed away from each other since that accident. Seeing each other remind them of Harada’s death.

Something worthed mentioning is that Rika has finally accepted Mayama!

Prince of Tennis OVA 2 is finally released!

Woh woh! After like 3 months, the second episode of Prince of Tennis (2nd season)is out! Although it was a long wait, still got to thank Saizen for subbing it. Yeah, preparing to watch later…

Ouran 16 – Hikaru and Haruhi

This is one nice chapter taken from the manga, which is about the first “date” between Hikaru and Haruhi. He he… more development in manga vol 8.

Haruhi lets Hikaru try the ice-cream but stopped by Tamaki later on.

Hikaru went back to find Haruhi and found her hiding under a table in a church overcame with fear. (She is afraid of thunder).

NDP Preview

Yeah!I went to the NDP Preview yesterday! Hmm… let me recall, I think the last time I went to NDP live is when I was in Primary school. Really grateful to my colleague for giving me these 2 tickets. So fun!!! Extremely touching when we say the pledge and sing the national anthem together. And the fireworks…so beautiful… Too bad I didn’t bring a camera (cos I went back to work in the morning) and my phone has no camera (because of my company policy). Despite the trouble go back from the stadium, I enjoyed myself a lot.

MushiOne Vol 2

Guess what, I received a parcel from Japan today! Immediately I knew that it is the Mushishi OST (MushiOne Vol 2) which I wanted so much but find it too expensive to buy. Leslie had bought it online and shipped it to my house.

Thank you sooo much dear! I know it costed you a bomb, really appreciate your love.

I am listening to it now… really nice and soothing. Feel so light as if I am flying. (I’m not on drugs ok, the music produced such effect.)

Ouran 15 – Good Job

Tamaki could not find Haruhi for 3 days and is panicking. He hold a teleconference with the rest of the Host Club members to discuss.

A very interesting way of teleconferencing. The voice of each member came out from a speaker hidden behind their respective portrait on the wall. (Ha ha, notice Kaoru and Hikaru has the work “Baka” on their forehead) This telconference thing is not taken from the manga. Good Job production team! (The phrase “Good job” is commonly used by Tamaki and the twins, when Haruhi is forced to wear a dress.)

Honey and Clover II Ep 3 – new development

Just watched ep 3, spent a few nights downloading it. (Hmm… recently my download speed is constantly less than 10kpbs, Starhub should stop their promotion! I predict 80% of my neighbours are subscribed to Starhub and are now sharing this limitted bandwidth with me.)

Anyway, I really love this anime. Nomiya is so sweet… can’t express well in words, watch the anime and you will know. A new relationship is blooming. Nomiya fell in love with Yamada! (Although he is aware that Yamada is in love with Mayama. (Their names are so similar, the “ma” and “ya” that I need to refer to the anime constantly when I blog)

There’s a reason why Sanji (One Piece) always kicks!

I have been watching One Piece for so many years and now then anime reveals why Sanji only kicks when he fights. Sanji fights with knifes in episode 259! The fact is he felt that he should not use his precious hands to fight since he is a cook. But in this episode, he is fighting with another cook and they are fighting in the kitchen.

* Whenever Sanji fights, the background music is always of Swing type. This is one anime which you should watch to release stress. It can be very exciting and funny at times. I dun think this anime is only meant for kids. haha

Ouran Host Club Mange Vol 8!

Ha ha. I got hold of volume 8! (But no more 20% discount, so got it at $4.50 with the kino discount card.)

Yesterday night, I had dinner with Theresa and Pam to celebrate Pam’s Birthday. We met at CityHall at 7pm. Met Andy while waiting for them and found that he is now working in Deutsche Bank doing risk management. Pam arrived and we decided to move to a restaurant while waiting for Theresa to come. Out of boredom, I decided to play a little trick on Theresa. I sms her 2 clues to where we are and let her find us.

Clue 1: When you surf across the clear water, you will see 2 pretty women sitting there. (of course I am referring to Pam and myself =p)

Clue 2: We are at a state in America.

Ouran 14 – Tamaki’s past revealed!

This is how an electone looks like!

Just want to introduce to you what does an electone looks like.(Whenever I tell someone I’m learning the electone, they will ask me what is it…) So here’s what an electone looks like. It doesn’t look like a piano since it has sooo many pedals and two layers of keyboard. FYI, each of the pedals produced a different note, just like the keyboard. It is much more complicated than an electric piano. Notice the 2 black ‘platforms’ on top of the layer of pedals, they are the volume control, special sound effect and sound changing switch. The cost of a brand new high-end electone is close to S$20,000. (Ha, I bought my 2nd hand EL90 at S$2,700)

This is the new Electone Stagea. The one I had at home is EL90, which is one of the best models during my time… that is 10 years ago. Ha ha, but the difference between this new edge Stagea and my EL90 is it has a touch-screen and coloured LCD panel while is like the old nokia 3310 handphone and it is greyish in colour while mine is black. (In fact I think black is more stylish). Ok, got to admit that Stagea is more advanced, it can read from usb ports, unlike mine is floppy disk… (Yes, I’m still using floppy disk to store the sounds and rhythms)
